Amari’s Story
A short time ago a beautiful black and white tuxedo kitty came to my front door. Soon after I observed something separating his hair around his neck. When I got closer I discovered it was a flea color that must have been put on a very long time ago and was so tight he could hardly breathe. I immediately cut it off, as it could not be loosened due to the zip tie fastener. He was extremely thankful, as you could imagine. I took him to the Clint Moore Animal Hospital and discovered he was micro chipped and learned his story. His name is Amari and he justturned 3 years old (DOB 10-5/13). His priorowner had moved away a year and a half ago and left him behind to fend for himself.
Amari is a domestic short hair neutered male. He is up to date on all vaccinations and is 100% litter box trained. Amari is loving, affectionate and loves dogs but is a little competitive with other male cats.
It is amazing to watch how comfortable he is with dogs. When he began his journey as a kitten he had a canine companion. Amaricontinually tries to rub his head against my dog’s heads. He just wants to be loved and give love. When Amari was abandoned he was forced to spend a time outside and learned to go to the bathroom outside. He is comfortable to be an indoor and outdoor cat but prefers to stay indoors and spend time with his human and canine loved oneswhether it is lying on your office desk while you work, sharing the couch when watching TV, or sleeping by your side.
He is a wonderful loving companion and would be so thankful to be loved, to give love, and to have a forever home!
